Rescues

Bright Star Farm is committed to helping horses and other animals in need. We fund this effort out of our own pocket and opted not to file for 501(c)3 status for a number of reasons. We list available rescues on our "Horses for Sale" page. However, these horses are not for sale. We ask for a donation of $100 to help offset the costs associated with their rescue and care. In addition to that, we ask for a vet reference and carefully screen their new homes. The purpose of rescuing these horses is simply to give them a second chance at a good life and not to make a profit. If you know an animal in need, please contact us and we will do our best to help out. We accept horses of all breeds and also animals of all species. Monetary donations are always greatly appreciated, as are gifts of any horse related items. Click on the photo of each animal to learn more about our prior rescues.
